The Ukrainian Defense Forces' attack on an oil depot in Engels in Russian Federation was more effective than previously thought. This is evidenced by new satellite images obtained by NV.

The June 10 images show the destruction or critical damage of at least five or seven fuel tanks, twice as many as previously thought.

On June 7, NV published satellite images that captured the aftermath of the attacks on Engels. Large-scale fire and destruction could be seen on the images, but it was impossible to assess the extent of the destruction due to the large amount of smoke stretching for dozens of kilometers.

Satellite images also confirm a successful UAV attack on the VNIIR-Progress plant in the city of Cheboksary on the territory of the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation, which is 975 kilometers from the Ukrainian state border.

As of June 10, due to the low quality of the images, it is difficult to assess the scale of destruction, but there were traces of fire on the roof of one of the buildings. With the quality of the frame that we have now, the fire is difficult to notice at once, but the changes become obvious compared to satellite images before the UAV attack.

The AFU General Staff earlier reported that the Defense Forces hit the VNIIR-Progress enterprise in Cheboksary on the night of June 9. At least two drones struck the Russian military-industrial complex enterprise, and a large-scale fire broke out.
