Expert: Ukrainian-made Long-range Weapons Are Superior To Foreign Ones

Developing its own means of defeat is a priority for Ukraine.
Ukrainian weapons are no longer just an alternative to Western weapons - they confidently surpass them in range and effectiveness.
"Grom-2", modernized "Neptun" and S-200, aircraft-type UAVs - all these developments deliver precise strikes against Russian infrastructure at a range of up to 2,000 km.

- Long-range Ukrainian-made weapons can play a key role in Russia's war against Ukraine. And it is not just about aircraft-type drones, but primarily about the missile rearmament program of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Let me remind you that back in 2016, the Sapsan operational-tactical complex, better known as Grom-2, was presented to the general public.
Its range of target engagement is more than 500 kilometers, which is commensurate with the tactical and technical characteristics of German TAURUS missiles. Once again, please note: the tactical and technical characteristics of, for example, the U.S. ATACMS - 300 kilometers. That is twice less than the Ukrainian means of destruction, - said Snegirev.
According to him, it is the Ukrainian production, the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and will make it possible to keep under fire control the rear infrastructure of the occupation troops.
- And, note, not only in the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine, but primarily on the territory of the Russian Federation and in the zone of Ukrainian means of destruction. And this is not only the Grom-2. This is the modernized Neptun, this is the modernized S-200 surface-to-air missile system, which is still of Soviet origin, but which now, thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian gunsmiths, has the ability to hit ground targets. Finally, there is a line of airplane-type UAVs," the military and political analyst said.
