Two explosions occurred in the area of Desantnaya Bay in Vladivostok, but no casualties or damage were recorded. This was reported by the government of Primorsky Krai on May 30, RIA Novosti reports.

The portal Vladivostok1.Ru wrote about the accumulation of police and ambulance cars, as well as people in military uniforms at the turn to the bay. Drivers are having their documents checked and their cars examined, saying that investigative measures are underway.

RBC reported that large landing ships of the Pacific Fleet were holding exercises in Desantnaya Bay. Thus, in February 2025, the crew of the BDC "Oslyabya", together with units of the Marine Corps, practiced loading military equipment there. Civilian vessels are not allowed to enter the bay.
