Two high-ranking Russian police officers engaged in a shootout in Orsha on the morning of May 26. As a result, one of them shot and killed the other. New details of this high-profile case have emerged.

According to orsha.eu, after work, the police officers, who were on a business trip in the Smolensk region of Russia, decided to relax and use drugs. An expert examination revealed synthetic substances known as "salts" in their blood.

They drove their private car without license plates onto the M1 highway, but the drugged driver mixed up the direction and mistakenly headed not towards a Russian city, but towards Belarus.

The driver and passenger allegedly did not even immediately realize that they were in another country.

The men then quarreled. The conflict ended with a shot from a traumatic weapon. One of the policemen died.

According to the channel, the call to the Belarusian police was made by the killer himself.
