Explosions Were Heard In The Moscow Region

The work of Vnukovo airport has been suspended.

On the night of May 29, explosions erupted in the Moscow region amid air defense systems.

This was reported by residents of a number of cities, as well as Russian officials and media, writes New Voice.

In particular, the operation of Moscow's Vnukovo airport was suspended, where the so-called "Cover" plan was introduced due to the air threat.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defense allegedly destroyed three drones that were trying to attack the Moscow region. He said there were no serious damage or casualties, but emergency services were working at the sites where the debris fell.

According to Russian Telegram channels, explosions were heard in the settlements of Odintsovo, Aprelevka and Zvenigorod. The network also reported damage to the building of the Mirax Park residential complex in southwestern Moscow, probably as a result of a drone strike.

Earlier, on the night of May 28, a large-scale drone attack was already recorded in the Russian capital, which caused panic among residents and a temporary suspension of flights.
