Turkish unmanned fighter jet Bayraktar Kızılelma has successfully passed tests with "aggressive" maneuvering using takeoff with afterburner. This is reported by Baykar, which acts as the developer of the UAV.

The Turkish company released a spectacular video showing the latest achievements of Kızılelma. As Clash Report reports, it is about the fourth prototype of the aircraft. Information about its tests was made public in May.

It is known that it is equipped with the AI-322F engine from the Ukrainian state enterprise Ivchenko-Progress (the first prototypes were to be equipped with AI-25TLT engines).

Turkey is also considering alternative variants of the propulsion system. Thus, in March last year, a turbojet engine from Turkey's Kale Group - TEI-TF6000 - was successfully tested.
