Hundreds of delayed flights.

Hundreds of flights were delayed at Moscow airports due to a massive Ukrainian drone attack that lasted throughout the night and morning of May 28. According to Vnukovo's online scoreboard, 64 departing flights and 74 arriving flights have been delayed since midnight, writes The Moscow Times.

Some of the planes flying to Vnukovo were diverted to Sheremetyevo, which later also limited operations, and some to St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport. The latter took 14 flights overnight as an alternate airfield. In Domodedovo about 30 flights were delayed or canceled on departure and 39 on arrival, in Sheremetyevo - more than 60 flights on departure and 23 on arrival, and in Zhukovsky - two flights on departure and six on arrival. Restrictions in the capital's airports were lifted at 7:15 Minsk time, Rosaviatsia said.

Aeroflot warned that flight schedules due to temporary restrictions at the airports would be adjusted, "including by canceling and combining several flights." Passengers were recommended to follow changes in the schedule on the official website of the airline and information boards of airports. Passengers of canceled flights were promised to reissue tickets or fully refund their cost if they cancel the flight. Aeroflot noted that passengers of delayed and diverted flights are provided with food and water, as well as they can be accommodated in a hotel depending on the waiting time. Pobeda, a subsidiary of Aeroflot, also warned about schedule adjustments due to restrictions at Moscow airports. According to Shot, hundreds of people lined up at Sheremetyevo to change tickets for canceled flights.
