Trump's special envoy called on Russia to immediately cease fire.
U.S. Presidential Special Envoy Keith Kellogg reacted to a comment by Russian Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on World War III, calling his statement "reckless."
"Fueling the fear of World War III is a sad, reckless comment by Medvedev that is out of line with the requirements of a world power," he said.
Kellogg added that U.S. President Donald Trump is working to "stop this war and stop the killing."
He also noted that the U.S. expects to receive from Russia the "memorandum" (of truce - ed.) it promised.
The U.S. presidential special envoy urged Russia to "cease fire now."
Remember, Medvedev responded to Trump's criticism of Kremlin chief Putin by saying "one really bad thing - World War III."
