Usurper Alexander Lukashenko has changed the order of operation of parking lots and parking lots in Belarus.
It is reported that Tuesday, May 27, the dictator signed a decree amending the decree № 589 "On streamlining the operation of parking lots and parking lots" of October 3, 2006.
The document specifies the conditions of organization and maintenance of parking lots, for the use of which a fee will be charged, excludes the mandatory condition concerning the equipping of paid parking lots with devices for timekeeping and calculation of payment and technical means that prevent the vehicle from leaving the parking lot if the fee is not paid.
In addition, the decree defines the categories of vehicles that will not be charged for parking. In particular, they include operational vehicles, as well as those used to ensure defense, law and order, emergency response, medical assistance (including ambulance), national postal operator and others.
According to the document, parking lots located in markets, near commercial facilities, as well as objects of social and cultural purposes, remain free of charge. The press service pointed out that the decree is aimed at reducing the transport and environmental burden on the central parts of cities. In addition, it is aimed at improving the efficiency of the functioning of the parking space and the payment discipline of car owners in the use of parking lots.
"The order of operation of parking lots and parking lots, as well as charging for them will be determined by the "council of ministers," - it was said in the message.
At the same time, the norms of the decree in terms of introducing a new order of operation of parking lots and parking lots will come into force three months after the official publication.
