Belarus Is The Leader In Inflation Rates Among The EAEU Countries

In April, the largest increase in the price of food and non-food products in the Union was recorded.

In April 2025, Belarus recorded the highest rise in prices of food and non-food products in the Eurasian Economic Union, according to the analysis of the Eurasian Economic Commission data, conducted by "Pozirkam".

Food products in the whole Union rose in price by 0.8% in April (4.4% YTD, 11.7% year-on-year): Belarus - by 1.4% (+4.2% and +8.3% respectively), Armenia - by 1.2% (+4.9% and +5.3%), Kazakhstan - by 1.1% (+5.7% and 8.5%), Russia - by 0.7% (+4.2% and +12.7%), Kyrgyzstan - by 0.5% (+3.6% and +8.7%).

Non-food products in the EAEU increased in price by 0.1% (+1% and +5.6%): in Belarus - by 0.7% (+2.2% and +3.6%), Kazakhstan - by 0.6% (+3% and 8.9%), Kyrgyzstan - by 0.3% (-0.3% and +4.6%); in Russia - by 0.1% (+0.8% and +5.4%), Armenia - by 0.2% (-0.4% and -0.5%).

Paid services became more expensive by 0.7% (+4.6% and +12.4%): in Kazakhstan - by 1.9% (+6.5% and +15.7%), Belarus and Russia - by 0.5% (+5.1% and 7% and +4.5% and +12.8% respectively), Armenia and Kyrgyzstan - by 0.1% (+1.1% and +2.7% and 1.1% and 5.9%).
