On the night of Monday, May 26, there were explosions in Tatarstan and the Tula region of the Russian Federation. Russian Telegram channels are reporting drone attacks and air defense systems, noted New Voice.

Russian Telegram channel Shot reports that locals in the city of Elabuga, Tatarstan, heard a series of explosions in the sky and the work of air defense systems. According to them, the explosions began to sound at about 22:40 local time. Before that, the airport in Nizhnekamsk was closed - now it neither receives nor sends flights.

Elabuga is home to a factory producing Shahed-131/136 Shahed-131/136 attack drones.

The UAVs have also attacked the Tula region. According to Russian Telegram channel Mash, the attack resulted in a massive blackout in the region. Before that, there were about 14 explosions in the sky above the region. Power outages were recorded in the city of Aleksin and several districts of Tula - the light disappeared in seven streets.
