RosSMI: Ukrainian Drones Attacked Putin's Helicopter

Putin's helicopter was at the epicenter of repelling a large-scale attack of Ukrainian drones. This, as RBC writes, the commander of the air defense division Yuri Dashkin, whose area of responsibility includes the region, told the Rossiya TV channel.

Dashkin said that during Putin's visit to the Kursk region, the Ukrainian military launched "an unprecedented attack with drones."

"We simultaneously conducted an anti-air combat and ensured air security for the president's helicopter flight. [The helicopter was] actually in the epicenter of repelling a massive attack by enemy drones," Dashkin said.

As previously reported, Putin visited the Kursk region on May 20.
