Russian Federation Says It Will Hand Kiev The Ceasefire Memorandum "in The Coming Days"

The development of the Russian proposals is nearing completion.

Russia "in the coming days" will hand over to Kiev its developments within the framework of the so-called "memorandum" on the settlement of the war in Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev, writes UNIAN with reference to the Russian media.

According to him, the development of Russian proposals is nearing completion:

"Work on the memorandum is underway, firstly, yes, it is in the final stage. Secondly, I expect that the relevant Russian developments will be handed over to the opposite side in the next few days. I have such information."

After a telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin on May 19, Russia said it was preparing a "memorandum" on the principles of a future peace treaty, which it would offer to Ukraine for agreement.
