Ukrainian defender freed from Russian captivity has never seen his 3-year-old child.

Ukrainian soldier Andrey Almazov, who was released from Russian captivity, told NV that what he wants most at home is to see his son, who was born three years ago.

The 35-year-old Almazov had been held captive by Russian occupiers for three years and two months, and only the baby's tiny handprints could be handed to him by relatives in Kremlin custody.

"My wife was pregnant. On the 23rd of July 2022, a son was born. And I was captured on the 22nd of April. I want to get a phone now and look at my son," the man said.

We recall that on May 23, 390 Ukrainians - 270 military and 120 civilians - returned home from Russian captivity.

The exchange is carried out according to the formula "1000 for 1000" and will last for the next few days.
