There are many important military targets in the Moscow region.
Amid drone attacks on Moscow and other regions of Russia, Ukrainian military officer and blogger Yuriy Kasyanov explained the effectiveness of the new tactics.
He says the enemy recognizes that the Ukrainian defense forces are using new tactics, attacking Moscow not with mass raids but with constant attacks by small groups of drones.
Kasyanov explains that such attacks, in particular, cause economic damage and destabilize air traffic:
"This leads to disruptions in air traffic - Moscow airports are closed, planes are diverted, passengers are late, large losses are incurred and constant nervousness is created. And as a 'pleasant bonus' - the new Moscow rule to turn off mobile internet during drone strikes."
"And if someone says it's a waste, it's not - there are many important military targets in the Moscow region, raids on Moscow draw half of the enemy's air defense to this region, and anti-aircraft missiles cost no less than drones," he explains.
As is known, the drone attack on Russian territory lasted three days in a row. The Russian Defense Ministry counted more than 750 UAVs eliminated.
