Ukraine needs to hold the country's defense until the fall, as there will be no results of peace talks until then. This opinion in an interview with "Glavred" was voiced by Russian political technologist, gallery owner Marat Gelman.

According to him, the negotiation process will be prolonged, and in parallel there will be hostilities.

"I think there will be no results of negotiations until the fall. The negotiation process will be prolonged, possible meetings, let's say, once every two weeks. And in parallel there will be fighting," he said.

According to Gelman, when the summer ends, it will be possible to calculate how many meters the Russian army has advanced, and what such an advance cost Putin.

"Based on such calculations, it should become clear that it is impossible to capture the four regions militarily. And then the Russian delegation will make so-called compromises. For example, it will make concessions on the border line and restrain its ambitions in relation to the four regions," the expert believes.
