CNN: Israel Is Preparing A Strike On Iran's Nuclear Facilities

U.S. intelligence has surfaced.

U.S. intelligence believes Israel is preparing to strike Iranian nuclear facilities despite U.S. President Donald Trump's administration trying to reach a diplomatic agreement with Tehran.

This CNN was reported by several U.S. officials familiar with the latest intelligence information.

American officials said such a potential strike would be an open challenge to Trump and could also provoke a wider regional conflict in the Middle East.

The officials cautioned that a final decision by the Israeli leadership has yet to be made and that in fact there are deep divisions within the U.S. government over the likelihood that Israel would ultimately take such a step.

"But the likelihood of an Israeli strike on an Iranian nuclear facility has increased significantly in recent months. And the prospect of a Trump-brokered agreement between the U.S. and Iran that does not include the removal of all Iranian uranium makes a strike even more likely," said an interlocutor with knowledge of the information from U.S. intelligence.

The interlocutors said the heightened concern stems not only from public and private statements by senior Israeli officials that they are considering such a move, but also from intercepted communications by Israeli services and surveillance of Israeli military movements that could
