A whole epidemic of accidents.

An Airbus A330-300 airplane of the Russian airline iFLY (iFLY), flying from Vladivostok to Moscow, made an emergency landing at Khabarovsk airport due to "technical malfunctions," the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office said, The Moscow Times.

There were 345 passengers and 12 crew members on board. The landing went safely, no one was injured. The emergency services specified that the airplane had engine problems. The Eastern Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport has started checking a possible violation of the rules of traffic safety and aircraft operation (Article 263 of the Criminal Code).

This is the fifth case of forced landing of a Russian airlines' plane due to a breakdown in a week. On the same day, an S7 Airlines Boeing 737-800 flying from Novosibirsk to Irkutsk was forced to return to the airport of departure due to a landing gear malfunction. On May 17, another S7 airliner with 150 passengers flying from Gorno-Altaisk to Moscow made an emergency landing in Novosibirsk. The Airbus A320 had an engine failure. The same problem occurred on a similar Aeroflot plane traveling from Omsk to Moscow on Saturday.
