Producers of animal products in Belarus raised prices by 12% in the first quarter compared to the same period in 2024. This was reported by the publication "Belarusians and the market" with reference to the data of the Eurasian Economic Commission. This is the highest indicator among the EAEU countries. In Russia, for example, prices for animal products from suppliers increased by 8.5%.

Wheat, cabbage, beets and carrots are the second cheapest in the EEU. But onions are the most expensive in Belarus - $398 per ton.
