Sikorski Named A Country That Can Put Putin In His Place

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called on China to make efforts to end Russia's war against Ukraine by pressuring Russia to that end, Tagesspiegel reports (translated by "Unian").

- The country that could end the war and put Putin in his place is China," he said.

Sikorski said Russia is "China's economic vassal":

- If China threatened a trade embargo, Russia would be forced to comply.

But at the moment, the Polish minister said, Putin is stalling and is serious about subjugating all of Ukraine.

- He is still convinced he can win, Sikorski added.
