The Unique "Wasp" Of The AFU: A New Drone Has Appeared In Service With The Ukrainian Army

The Ukrainian army has received a new Vespa-15 attack drone. It has been approved for operation in the AFU.

As the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported, "Vespa" translates as "wasp" from Italian. The Vespa-15 unmanned aircraft system is capable of overcoming distances to the target of several dozens of kilometers with a significant combat load.

The drones of the complex have increased resistance to the work of electronic countermeasures. As noted in the Ukrainian Main Department for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment, the explosive "sting" of the Ukrainian drone can hit not only the enemy's manpower, but also armored vehicles, cars, field shelters and the like.

The complex has modifications of drones to perform various tasks during the day and night.
